1.0 MISSION STATEMENT
To shorten the path to employment for graduating students and professionals with limited or no local practical experience in their relevant field and to build stronger relationships between tertiary & education sectors and local industry partners and employers.
2.0 FUTUREHUB PRECEPT TO PRACTICE (PTP) TRAINING OVERVIEW
At FutureHub we recognise that the Traditional Classroom environment is very limited in preparing students and professionals with limited or no work experience in the relevant industry for the Australian professional business setting.
By engaging our students on live industry projects with actual deadlines and deliverables, we provide an accelerated practical experience coupled with job placement which often leads to long term employment in our clients’ teams and businesses
3.0 PROCESS
3.1 Pre-Enrolment (Apply Via Website)
- The candidate provides a CV and Letter of Application stating the objectives for wanting to join the program
- FutureHub assesses the above and if criteria are met, sends an invitation to initial consultation to map current versus future objectives
- Candidate books consultation date/time (1 hour) at FutureHub premises or online Face to Face discussion $250 inclusive of GST
- Candidate and FutureHub jointly agree on Pathway and PTP sessions for completion as well as the enrolment start date
- FutureHub sends Enrolment welcome pack and booking confirmation form
3.2 Post-enrolment
- Welcome & Induction to Precept To Practice training
- Define Training Needs & Gap Analysis based on the ideal industry & job.
- Self-Assessment
- Define Training Needs Gap Analysis Matrix
- Prepare Action Plan Complete with a precise list of deliverables & deadlines
- Create an ideal resume and work on interviewing techniques and work on deliverables to prove competency through live projects/bids/corporate needs
- Provide Soft skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS PowerPoint and MS Project, relevant to the applicant’s profession
- Link with community and networking groups and access to guest speakers
- Create/Modify online profiles of the candidate (Job Websites, LinkedIn)
- Link to and with industry partners and potential employers facilitating job placements in relevant industries
4.0 OUR APPROACH
4.1 Knowledge Sharing, On the Job Training & Placement
- This is the Gateway to accessing local industry through our on-the-job practical training for workplace readiness, combined with voluntary placement with our industry partners
- Our target audience are those that are either new to Australia or have struggled to secure meaningful employment in a sector relevant to their chosen field and industry.
- Based on years of industry experience, FutureHub offers approximately 75 ‘Precept to Practice’ modules to choose from and additionally facilitate ‘On the Job Voluntary Work Experience’ with local business for those who are looking to improve their employability.
- We provide access to potential employers within our extensive networks. As part of this, we provide knowledge sharing in their desired field as well as guidance and expertise in some of the ‘softer and smarter skills’ which can be critical in assuring a potential employer in your ability to assimilate into their workplace and delivery to Australian standards.

Meet & Greet and Initial Settlement Services in Australia on Arrival
- This applies to those who have the living and working rights in Australia
- When anyone lands in Australia with the living rights, Futurehub has the capacity to facilitate the local meet and greet services
- The above services include flights, temporary accommodation, local road transportation services and other facilities that you may be in need the new arrivals get to know Australia
- This service is chargeable and the rates are dependent on the services required
Precept to Practice Knowledge Sharing Sessions, Voluntary Training and Placement
- This is applicable to those who have living and working rights in Australia
- This is the Gateway to get inducted to the local industry and voluntary on the job training for those who are new to Australia and looking for meaningful employment in the relevant industry
- This is applicable for new settlers in Australia with or without experience that have living and working rights with the correct visa in hand (Student, Permanent Resident, Citizens, Temporary Resident etc.)
- Futurehub runs approximately 75 “Precept to Practice Training Courses” to choose from and also facilitate “On The Job Voluntary Work Experience” in Australian Companies for those who are new to Australia and are looking for employment opportunities
- As part of this, we provide assistance in the soft skills and access to potential employers within our reach
